Power Of Language

I think that language matters a lot. Nothing exists outside of our minds, and the ability to communicate allows you to share our mind—what is going on in the world. We can share experiences/thoughts that have been said before and therefore influence others’ thoughts. And once those thoughts are out there, they keep moving around between people, so ideas don’t stay with one person but become something that many people carry. In that way language becomes the way we build what we think is real, because we keep repeating things to each other and agreeing on them. So the words we use and the way we say them end up shaping.
