Smaller parties often end up having more power because their votes are needed to create a majority government These parties often make deals offering support to a party in return for them promoting a specific agenda/policy that the party wants to pass If a coalition cannot be formed in the prescribed amount of time, another election will be held Prime ministers and their government can only stay in power if they have the support of the majority of the Knesset Knesset can vote to vote again.
