Garou(EF) on the selfishness of society

Society as a whole has become very selfish, the individualization of each person has become prominent and the norm. It's a vicious cycle because even good men/women end up engaging in it due to self preservation and some level of ego which is within most human beings. You see i'll try to break it down for you. You have Person A, this individual has a very low consciousness level and only thinks about himself. He believes everyone else is only there to serve him as stepping stones. His intellectual capabilities are limited, his entitlement only the surface of what a shallow human being he is. Now this person goes out into public and does multiple acts of selfishness which are all witnessed by others in society, usually these acts will not only benefit this selfish man but they will also negatively affect the people around him. This negative impact in turns makes others see this person and think why they too shouldn't engage in selfish behavior as the selfish man seems to not only be getting away with it but also getting ahead. So Person B sees this behavior and although they may be a better human being and not as selfish like the man, they too start engaging in selfish behavior. Their ego cannot take the hit of being "stepped on" so they want to be the one doing the stepping instead of being stepped on. This just creates a cycle where others witness these two and engage in it, soon enough you have an entire society of entitled, selfish, egotistical, narcissistic individuals who value individualism over all else.
