Design Process: Paper Drop

Develop a system using no more than 1 sheet of paper (letter sized 8.5 x 11") that ensures the paper would take the longest amount of time possible between you releasing the paper and it reaching the "floor". You must let go of the paper at a height of 1 m maximum above the "floor". Physical objects may not catch/block the paper from dropping (e.g. table, chair, parts of the paper that weren't used)
1. Analyze(define the problem)
- Paper must take the longest amount of time to reach the floor from a height of ≤1m
2. Conduct Research: what are your "constraints"
- Physical objects may not catch the paper
- No more than 1 sheet of paper
3. Brainstorm
- Air resistance causes objects to take a longer time to fall
