* school technology1. A qubit can represent a blend (“superposition”) of 0 and 1 simultaneously.
- This doesn’t mean “more states stored inside it,” but that:
- The outcome isn’t determined until measured
- It allows quantum computers to evaluate many possibilities at once
- Quantum systems can, in certain algorithms, be exponentially faster for specific problems (not all).
