  • He accepted this
  • This showed abraham's great trust for god. He left everything he knew guided solely by divine promise

2. Test 2-God's Divine Promises and the waiting period

  • Extended test spanning many years (Genesis 15-16)
  • God promised numerous descendants despite Abraham's advanced age
  • Required patience and continued faith despite infertility
