- The fertile crescent was the area surround the Tigris and Euphrates.
- Lots of ancient civilizations developed there
4. Assyrian Empire (740-722 BCE)
- The north kingdom became a vassal to assyria
- The tribes were expelled after a three year siege. They sent in colonizers to help assimilate.
