1. Teshuva

When you sin, you stray further from god. When you repent for your sins, you return to G-d.

2. Types of Repentance/Teshuva

  • Between god and u You regret it and express your regret
  • Between you and others
    • You do that but also apologize to whoever you hurt.

3. Regrets

  • Your regret is not what you did but who you hurt by doing that

3.1. Types of regrets

3.1.1. "Could've been"

  • Not a valid form of regret because you dont know what woudve actually happened
  • Simply a guess/speculation

3.1.2. "Should've been"

  • Causes real growth
  • Moves you up the ladder
  • You understand your wrongdoing

3.2. What do we gain from regretting

  • Regretting something that "could've" been doesnt change anything
