The Exodus
* school tanakh1. The exodus
Years after Joseph's death, A new pharoah who was unfamiliar with Joseph's legacy saw the growing hebrew population as a threat and began to enslave them. Over generations, as the israelites lived under oppressive conditions, some began to adopt the practices and idols of Egypt. This assimilation into egyptian culture violated the Contract and was a sin. This caused god to command Moses and Aaron to leave egypt.
