1. The sykes-picot agreement is a secret agreement between britain and france(with russias approval) that divided ottoman territories in the middle east.
- France would control parts of modern day syria and lebanon.
- Britain would control mesopotamia and some of palestine.
- Jerusalem became an international city.
- Agreement showed the europen powers simply wanted power.
- Agreement never becomes a reality.. instead mandates are issued in 1920
- This guy thinks that its easier to bash sykes-picot than sanremo. They just want to bash european interference. They dont ant many states, they want a huge caliphate. This never happened, in 1920 the (97ccbdac-3bd0-4052-a9f3-706f66ef295d) happened instead
