Shemot 2:12
*וַיִּ֤פֶן כֹּה֙ וָכֹ֔ה וַיַּ֖רְא כִּ֣י אֵ֣ין אִ֑ישׁ וַיַּךְ֙ אֶת־הַמִּצְרִ֔י וַֽיִּטְמְנֵ֖הוּ בַּחֽוֹל׃ He turned this way and that and, seeing no one about, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
- He turned and saw nobody there and he struck the egyptian and buried him in sand
1. Explanation
- Moshe was devastateed. He understood what the egyptian to do the jew and his wife. He understood how cruel the supervisor.He made a careful and calculated strike when nobody could look
- He did this out of:
- Brotherhood
- Justice
- These are important values for moshe
1.1. Sforno:
Not only was he doing this from a calculated position and judgement for the egyptian's actions, but also from a place of brotherhood between him and his jewish brothers. He buried the egyptian supervisor after.
