Shemot 3:3

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֔ה אָסֻֽרָה־נָּ֣א וְאֶרְאֶ֔ה אֶת־הַמַּרְאֶ֥ה הַגָּדֹ֖ל הַזֶּ֑ה מַדּ֖וּעַ לֹא־יִבְעַ֥ר הַסְּנֶֽה׃ Moses said, “I must turn aside to look at this marvelous sight; why doesn’t the bush burn up?”
2. Explanation
- Moshe turns to see the bush not being consumed
- He does not know how this is possilbe and is shocked and very curious about this scene.
2.1. Commentary
2.1.1. אֶת־הַמַּרְאֶ֥ה
- This is the first time in the tanakh where god used his prophets. It was the first opportunity for god to send a message It signaled that moshe is someone god considers moshe as better and their special reationship
