- He did this to assert dominance and send the message that the king only listened to Babylon
2. Zedekiah was jehoachins uncle
- He was pushed to rebel against King Nebuchadnezzar in 588 BCE by the Zealots. The second revolt against the babylonians led to the destruction of the 1st temple
3. His ending
After the second revolt, he was held captive as the babylonians killed his family then gouged out his eyes. He was imprisoned in babylon
