וַתָּבֹ֕אנָה אֶל־רְעוּאֵ֖ל אֲבִיהֶ֑ן וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מַדּ֛וּעַ מִהַרְתֶּ֥ן בֹּ֖א הַיּֽוֹם׃ When they returned to their father Reuel, he said, “How is it that you have come back so soon today?”
2. Explanation
- Suddenly, the women came early from the well. Their father expected them to come back later because they had to wait for the shepherds to finish.
- Their father is ruel, the eader of midian
- Because of moses' help in shemot 2:16-17 , they came back early because moses stopped the shepherds and watered their animals
