Shemot 2:8

וַתֹּֽאמֶר־לָ֥הּ בַּת־פַּרְעֹ֖ה לֵ֑כִי וַתֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ הָֽעַלְמָ֔ה וַתִּקְרָ֖א אֶת־אֵ֥ם הַיָּֽלֶד׃ And Pharaoh’s daughter answered, “Yes.” So the girl went and called the child’s mother.
2. Explanation
- Pharoahs daughter asked miriam to bring a woman capable of feeding(Shemot 2:7). She wanted the "־אֵ֥ם of the child–his mother
- If she wanted to keep the baby alive, it was advisable to follow miriams instructions and go against her father.
2.1. הָֽעַלְמָ֔ה
- Miriams daughter was in her peak form. She ran really fast because she was excited. She was excited because this meant she succeeded in her mission of keeping the baby alive.
